Discover our drive to design and manufacture products the way we do
Inside Caice: How empowering employees drives innovation - a story of care, pride and constant improvement

A culture of integrity with real people making real impact
From production centre to final delivery, everything we do reflects the people who do it — their thinking, their commitment, and their desire to do it right. That mindset is why Caice continues to earn the trust of leading names in the building services sector, and why we’re always on the lookout for people who share our values.
Doing the right thing isn't just a principle
At Caice, it’s a way of life. In the short film below, we hear from members of the team about how a culture of honesty, respect and continuous improvement drives everything from production innovations to long-lasting client relationships. Watch the video and read the full transcript below to discover what makes Caice a real people-first business.
We're partners who think like you do

At Caice, we don’t just design and manufacture products — we think, question, and improve. Every project benefits from a culture that empowers people at every level to take ownership and find better ways.
That’s why consultants and contractors trust us to deliver systems that perform, products that last, and ideas that add value beyond the specification. We’re not just following drawings — we’re bringing insight to every build.
Caice is a place to belong to and to build

We believe in creating an environment where people genuinely want to work. Where your contribution matters, your ideas are heard, and your effort gets noticed.
Whether you’re just starting out or bringing years of experience, Caice offers more than a job — it offers pride, purpose, and the chance to be part of a company that’s always evolving, because of the people who power it.

Being truthful and doing it right is absolutely the fundamental way to do business. And that is in our DNA at Caice — that follows top-down all the way through.
[00:00:15]
We’re very focused on empowering all of our employees to make small improvements. And whenever they do, we encourage them: make a post on Teams in this channel so that it shares it across everybody in the company. People can see it — sometimes just to give them a pat on the back, celebrate the success, and sometimes for other people to think, “That’s a good idea, I should do that.”
[00:00:30]
What we are looking for is creating an environment at Caice where people want to work. That’s when incredible things start happening — particularly down at Production. That’s where someone might be told, “This is how you attach this bit of metal,” and then they do it for a year and turn around and say, “If I do this, it takes me half the time.”
[00:00:45]
So then you look at the product with that kind of mindset, and you look at the office, and the staff, and the software — what can we do to simplify? Make things easier?
[00:01:00]
We now have five buildings all in a nice tight unit. The improvements and the different things that we can do as a result of that are phenomenal. There is an overriding ‘do the right thing’ culture: tell the truth, test your product, understand your product, know what it does.
[00:01:15]
Having our own test lab has enabled us to push that forward to another level. What inspired that is an enthusiasm in the company to get better.
[00:01:30]
Across our three product groups — Fans, Attenuators and Louvres — you can get big fluctuations in demand. Having everything on one site now means that I can move people from Attenuators over to Louvres, because that’s where I’ve suddenly got a peak in demand.
[00:01:45]
And having the paint line with the facilities to do more output than we need means that yes, we can ramp up, we can meet those peaks.
[00:02:00]
As a company, environmental considerations are very important, but I’d like to think that we are more leading the way rather than following.
[00:02:15]
We are here to make environments comfortable. So you’ve got to do the right job. The product has to be right. You have to take pride in what you do.
[00:02:30]
One of the first jobs I did was the Royal Enclosures at Ascot racecourse. Then I did the Gherkin in London, and we’re involved in the Shard. Those are buildings that will last a lifetime.
[00:02:45]
There’s an academy just around the corner from my wife’s parents’ house, and every time I drive past, I think of all the children whose lives are going to be impacted by our involvement in getting the environment right in the classroom. That’s important. That matters.
[00:03:00]
Martyn, our Chairman, said we are ‘creative’ and ‘progressive’ — those are the two words he used. Except I would add onto that: ‘respectful’ — to our employees, our customers. It’s all about people at the end of the day.
