Caice designed, manufactured and delivered a bespoke weather louvre screen to protect a generator installation at a Brussels data centre, providing detailed documentation to support the independent installation team on the ground to ensure a smooth, successful fit.

Visual Screening and Protection for critical generator plant

Caice was appointed to supply a five-sided, open-top weather louvre screen protecting generator equipment at a Brussels data centre. The 4-metre-high screen included a single weather louvre access door and mitred corners, manufactured at our UK Production Centre and exported to Belgium.

Coordinating an international design and delivery

The louvre screen had to integrate precisely with the generator equipment, with the specification evolving as the wider installation progressed. Being an international delivery, the project also required export documentation and customs clearance to get the finished screen to site.

Clear documentation and support for the Brussels team

Caice worked closely with the client to finalise a solution that integrated cleanly with the generator installation. As the screen was installed by an independent Belgian team rather than Caice’s own installers, project management focused on managing the export and customs process and providing clear documentation to the installation team, so they had everything needed to fit the louvres and mitred corners correctly.
