Substantial attenuators required to reduce the noise from the tunnel ventilation fans
Originally working in detail with the tunnel engineering team and in-house acoustic consultants at Mott MacDonald, we identified the operating requirements for the attenuators. Due to the very large airflows and noise created by the ventilation fans, the demands were always going to be substantial.

Then having been awarded the contract by the engineering solutions provider, Emico, we manufactured large, robust Tunnel Ventilator Attenuators in our UK facility, using the unique Caice “6-fold” splitter design, on the scale, quantity and to the precise standards demanded by this project. All supported by our detailed drawings for Emico people to install the product based on our flatpack system and delivered efficiently to site.
