Residential Fan Coil Units for Quiet Air Conditioning
Our fan coil units use environmentally friendly chilled water for domestic air conditioning, instead of refrigerants, which make them ideal for large blocks of residential apartments rather than one-off uses.
They set a new standard in guaranteed quietness and are compliant with Part L of the Building Regulations. As well as being more energy efficient with a 15% lower specific fan power rating, our fan coil units have a 50% lower latent factor, reducing wasted cooling, reducing the burden on the chiller.
With Integral Attenuation
You can be assured that the FCUs we design for residential air conditioning systems are small and will meet project noise criteria as low as NR25, using optional integral attenuation. The fan coil unit and attenuator are tested together so we fully understand the effect of adding the attenuator to the FCU. Bespoke attenuators are designed for the FCUs to improve aerodynamic efficiency and we ensure costs are reduced by making both parts in the same factory.
Easy access means lower lifetime service and maintenance costs
We are the only company to develop a fan replacement side access option for domestic air conditioning units, to fit a 600mm x 600mm ceiling hatch, ceiling or floor tile, compared to the standard full-width access of FCU’s by other manufacturers.
This makes lifetime service and maintenance far easier as the air conditioning units have simple access for fixing their concertina filters, controls, and fans. They fit through the same access in plasterboard ceilings; saving costs and reducing destructive maintenance.
